Point well taken Scott. We try to keep to our maximum per class. Last class we welcomed an out-of-town guest from Australia. I also try to keep couples or family members together in the registratons. Sometimes this can put us over our limit.

I really enjoyed meeting you and your Mom. I love your passion for cooking. I think you might just have a natural talent! I hope I get to see you, your Mom, and your fiancé at another event soon. Best regards to all. Sharon.

My mom and I enjoyed the class very much. We picked up some useful tips and great recipes! The class size when we attended was a little larger than usual. Should try to avoid having more than 8 in a class as it gets to be a little hectic and less attention when there is such a large group. Other than that, everything was fantastic!

The location is at Yonge and Eglinton. You can call me for details. Yes, I will be offering a gluten free class under TSL Cooking Basics. In addition, if you have a number of people, we can schedule a class focused on that for you. Also, a number of my classes do not use gluten in the ingredients list. If there is a particular class of interest...check under "Events" tab, I can tell you if it will work for a gluten free diet.

Way to go on your weight loss Marc. That's so awesome. The majority of my classes are nutritionally balanced. My focus is on healthy ingredients and adding flavour without unnecessary fats, processed sugars/carbs, and salt. Having said that, I do offer an occasional indulgence when it comes to desserts.

I am The Spice Lady. I love to offer an adventure with spices. I think you would get a lot out of these classes...maybe more than you bargain for...smiles. In addition, check out the TSL Cooking Basics schedule under "Events".

Hello
I'd be interested in learning more about your service. I have recently lost 50 lbs (still have 30 - 40 to go) and need to learn to work within "healthy" guidelines - very low fat, low carb (except for vegetables) moderate protein - I'm able to keep to my healthy habits - but I need to know how to "flavour" food without adding extra calories - do you have classes that concentrate on such meals - I'd love to buy this deal - but if it will not add to my healthy lifestyle (I'm fully aware that adding butter and oils and cooking with fat adds tons of flavours - and calories) then this purchase may not be for me.

I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. I have never had the need for a food & safety certificate in my line of work. However there is this job I am interested in, in which there would be some handling of food, in which a certificate is required. I am looking for something pretty basic. Something that just shows that I have an understanding of food safety. Are you able to assist me with this. I am hoping to find a very quick and relatively inexpensive course that will give me the basics. Thank you.

Hi Jackie,

You make me smile too! I definitely remember you. You were an adorable charming little hostess in the early 80's? I think you were around 12. We had so much fun with you and your Dad...a major part of our dining experience. There were so many favourites, the to die for bread, the hazelnut pie, those amazing cream puffs, the chocolate layer cake. I googled your names and came up with this 2005 link. My readers might be interested in reading two of the awesome recipes. I remember I kept running into you and your Dad, just before I left to live in Toronto. We shared lots about our lives back then. You were so in love and just engaged to be married. I held some of my food adventures at your Dad's place, Bistro Bohemia. You know the food is good if you remember them decades later. Let's keep in touch. Give my best to your Dad. Your sweetheart Mom is in our memory forever. Hugs.
